A hard layer between your paint and Ohio
A ceramic coating is a liquid nano resin that cures into a hard, slick, sacrificial layer bonded to your clear coat. It is not a wax and it is not a sealant — it does not wash off after a few months of brine and lake-effect snow.

What is a ceramic coating actually doing?+
It is a nano resin system that bonds to your clear coat and forms a hard, slick sacrificial layer. FEYNLAB pioneered nano resin coatings — one of its founders coined the term "ceramic coating" over 15 years ago — and it resists chemicals, road film and UV far better than wax.
Why FEYNLAB instead of another brand?+
FEYNLAB is the world leader in nanotechnology development and manufacturing for automotive, marine and aerospace applications, with a team of scientists trained at institutions including Oxford University. We install their systems exclusively.
Does my paint need correction first?+
Usually yes. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so we polish first. Plenty of the cars in our portfolio needed heavy polishing before coating — that step is what produces the gloss you see afterwards.
Will it hold up to Cleveland winters?+
That is the point. Between lake-effect snow and salted roads on I-90 and Rocky River Dr, unprotected clear coat takes a beating. A coating makes salt film and brine far easier to rinse off without grinding it into the paint.
How long does the install take?+
Coating work is not a same-hour service. Correction plus application plus cure time typically means we keep the vehicle for multiple days. We will give you an exact window when we quote your vehicle.
Do you offer a warranty?+
Yes — select FEYNLAB coatings we install carry a lifetime warranty. We will confirm which warranty applies to your vehicle and package when we quote it.
Do you coat anything besides paint?+
Wheels, glass and exterior trim can all be coated, and we protect boats as well. One recent customer had the sides of his boat protected before the season.
